Join Agilent as a Field Service Engineer Pathology and play a critical role in supporting scientists and healthcare professionals in delivering lifeenhancing discoveries. In this dynamic role you will provide onsite technical support ensuring the optimal performance of Agilents pathology solutions. Your expertise will directly impact laboratories by minimizing downtime optimizing efficiency and enhancing customer success.
Key Responsibilities:
Travel extensively 90100 travel) including multistate visits and overnight stays to support customers in the field.
Perform installation maintenance repairs and upgrades on tissue diagnostic IVD devices including electromechanical pneumatic and softwaredriven systems.
Diagnose and resolve hardware software and network performance issues to minimize customer disruptions.
Provide preventive maintenance and train customers to maximize system performance.
Maintain clear proactive communication with customers internal teams and management.
Ensure compliance with Agilents policies and complete administrative tasks (e.g. documentation expense reporting) in SAP or other systems.
Offer technical feedback to product specialists and manufacturing teams regarding performance anomalies.
Qualifications
Bachelors or Masters degree in a scientific field (e.g. Chemistry Biochemistry Biotechnology Analytical Chemistry).
1 years of experience in field service or as an enduser of diagnostic equipment.
Strong troubleshooting and problemsolving skills.
Experience with Agilent pathology solutions is a plus but not required.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Additional Details
This job has a full time weekly schedule. It includes the option to work remotely. Applications for this job will be accepted until at least April 4 2025 or until the job is no longer posted. In the US this position is eligible for choice of company car or reimbursement for personal vehicle usage.The fulltime equivalent pay range for this position is $33.23 $51.92/hr plus eligibility for bonus stock and benefits. Our pay ranges are determined by role level and location. Within the range individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors including jobrelated skills experience and relevant education or training.
