Division of Family & Children Services (DFCS) Office of Family Independence (OFI) is seeking candidates for the position EligibilityAssociate within The Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) subsidized program. This is a timelimited position up to 24 months. This position is located in Statesboro Bulloch County Georgia.

Under direct supervision answers customer problems and inquiry calls. Records problem history information. Performs first level problem determination and resolution.
The Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) subsidized program is a state work experience program designed to provide those who meet TANF eligibility requirements with real life work experience. Interested applicants are not required to currently or have ever received TANF benefits; however must meet the eligibility requirement. TANF eligibility requirements are: one qualifying child under the age of 18 and gross household income under the 300 Federal Poverty Level guideline for household size. This program is not geared for long term employment. These positions are timelimited and based on available funding.
