Analyze an evolving partnership state tax portfolio of complex operations to provide meaningful business insights. Identify potential opportunities and risks to communicate to clients. Develop clear intelligent plans and approaches to improve our clients partnership state tax activities. Support and develop staffs overall growth and knowledge communicate with clients regarding open items issues and followup items detail review compliance work related to state tax extensions quarterly estimates schedule K1 packages and state tax returns (partnership).
Manage and motivate teams of professionals with diverse skills and backgrounds. Consistently deliver quality client services by monitoring progress. Demonstrate indepth technical capabilities in state taxation and professional knowledge. Maintain longterm client relationships and networks. Cultivate business development opportunities.
Full time employment Monday Friday 40 hours per week 8:30 am 5:30 pm.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance Business Law or a related field and 5 years of progressive postbaccalaureate work experience. Alternatively will accept a Masters degree in Accounting Finance Business Law or related field and 4 years of work experience.
Must have 4 years in state and local Income/Franchise tax compliance including process and project management
Must have 4 years of experience in managing budgets people and projects.
Must have 4 years of experience at a professional services company or inhouse experience in a real estate or asset management company.
Must have 4 years of experience in Microsoft Excel One Source Tax Compliance Software Corptax and/or Premium Pro.
Must have 2 years of experience in income/franchise tax rules that apply to the real estate industry.
Must have a CPA certification US state bar membership Enrolled Agent Certification or the ability to obtain within one year of hire.
