Do you want to become part of our agile team in Covestro IT and drive the digitalization of the company and the best possible design of business processes Then youve come to the right place! We as Covestro are starting our journey towards our global and unified SAP S4/HANA Systems. As the person responsible for the technical landscape for Group consolidation you will make a significant contribution to the design of the system processes and working methods and take a leading role in the implementation and support of the solution.
In addition to our wide range of benefits you can expect an attractive starting salary of between 102200/year plus variable component and 124000/year plus variable component for a fulltime position. The starting salary depends on your qualifications and professional experience.
In detail you will take on the following tasks for us:
You will assume IT responsibility for the implementation of the Covestro Group Reporting solution as part of the forwardlooking S4Hana project which is driving Covestros digital transformation
In your role you will have full operational responsibility for Covestros global ICSrelevant Group Consolidation System as System Owner. In doing so you will ensure that Covestros global close and consolidation is done on time and in an audit compliant system landscape
You will work closely with various departments to effectively implement process and system changes. This includes IT Application Services and Digital Transformation Group Closing & Financial Report Global Process Governance & ICS as well as local and global tax departments
One of your core tasks is to define and establish operational guidelines and ensure compliance with them. You will also establish standards for the development and operation of the system
You will use your expertise to drive continuous improvement processes and support their implementation in order to constantly optimize the efficiency and effectiveness of the reporting system
You will manage and lead contact persons for end users to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction. You will also coordinate cooperation with external partners who are involved at various points in the process operation and further development
What you bring with you:
You have a Masters degree or comparable qualification in economics or information technology
With more than 10 years of professional experience in a relevant IT corporate management or accounting environment you have indepth knowledge
You are characterized by an indepth understanding of group reporting processes and data models as well as knowledge of IT solutions in this environment such as SAP SEMBCS or Group Reporting
Your comprehensive knowledge of common IT processes (change operations maintenance support projects) enables you to take a holistic view of our IT landscape
You have proven experience in project work especially in project management and leadership
You have already successfully demonstrated your ability to effectively manage work processes and resources
You have indepth experience in SAP customizing and can make complex adjustments
Basic knowledge of SAP SQLScript & ANSI SQL as well as SAP HANA administration round off your technical profile
With your good knowledge of SAP system administration you are able to efficiently manage our SAP landscape
Your experience with BW BEX and MS Office enables you to analyze and present data effectively
Good ABAP knowledge is an advantage and enables you to make adjustments at code level if required
You communicate fluently in English both verbally and in writing which is essential for global collaboration at Covestro
