Parttime temporary position (maximum 20 hours per week) to provide academic assistance to College students experiencing difficulties in specific content areas. Individual competencies may include but are not limited to mathematics statistics biology chemistry or writing.
1. Assist students in developing and implementing individualized study plans.
2. Tutor students on an individual or small group basis.
3. Tutor students in the specific course material.
4. Meet with faculty and staff as necessary to obtain course information that will assist in effective tutoring.
5. Monitor student progress and report results to College faculty and staff as required.
6. Maintain relevant documentation to assess program performance.
7. Other related duties as assigned.
