*Pay Range $17.00 $17.85 per hour*
The Embassy Suites Portland Airport features 251 guest suites and 20000 sq. ft. of meeting space. The hotel is located less than half a mile outside the Portland International Airport seven miles from downtown Portland and nine miles from downtown Vancouver. The hotel has convenient access to the lightrail public transportation reaching the suburban areas of metroPortland.

The primary purpose of the Food & Beverage Attendant is to provide guests with an excellent dining experience while assisting in the presentation of the complimentary breakfast.
Work Performed:
The Food & BeverageAttendantwill be tasked with the following duties responsibilities and assignments:
Complete the sanitization/disinfection/cleanliness of work area including counter tops utensils equipment and refrigerationequipment;
Present complimentary breakfast/evening reception by obtaining supplies clearing dishes wiping table restocking buffet area.
Provide a high level of customer service including resolving customer concerns in a warmand professionalmanner;
Able toperform the duties ofa complimentary bartender busser cook or serverasneeded;
Knowledge of menus presentation and preparationmethods;
Ensure that all food is stored in proper containers and at proper storage and holdingtemperatures;
Work with all employees as a team to ensure smooth operation of foodproduction;
Facilitate shift changes and relay any pertinent information to supervisor and/or next shiftemployees;
Observe Health Department guidelines for food handling and sanitation so that guests and employees will not be in risk of crosscontamination keepingcompartment sink side boards and refrigerators clean andsanitized;
Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures; report accidentsinjuriesand unsafe work conditions to management; complete safety training and certifications; and
Any and allother work as required to complete the primary purpose of the position.
Qualifications:
- Previous customer service experience
- Previous food service experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Oregon Food Handlers Food Safety Trainingcertifiedor become certified within first 30 days of employment.
- Able to lift a minimum of 50lbsoccasionally and 15lbs regularly
- Ableto bend and squat repeatedly
- Able to walk and stand for duration of scheduled shift
- Flexible towork dayshifts early mornings weekends and holidays
