At Cornwall Housing were all about delivering homes and services to the communities of Cornwall. Were looking for people with grounds maintenance qualifications/experience to join the team. What its about

As part of a new team of Estate Rangers working together with colleagues across Cornwall Housing youll be delivering services to care for our neighbourhoods improving the look and feel of our estates for everyone.

We want you to care about where you work and support our communities so youll be about and about working on our estates and listening to residents to improve the places they live. Youll work alongside our housing and asset management teams to resolve issues and represent Cornwall Housing at all times.

What youll be doing

  • Keepingkeep our estates and communal areas clean safe and wellmaintained.
  • Acting on customer service requests keeping your eyes and ears open and going the extra mile where you see residents might need some help and support.
  • Getting involved in projects to improve the look and feel of our estates.
  • Helping us keep residents and you safe by following agreed practices for work recording checks on equipment or assets and letting us know about incidents or fire risks youve seen.
  • Inspecting our trees and communal areas to report flytipping incidents of crime graffiti and nuisance or getting involved in events which help prevent this.

What youll need to be a success

Our offer to you

Salary:26282 per year 13.62 per hour)

Hours:37 hours per week

Contract Type:Permanent

Base:This is a mobile role operating in the Bodmin and Wadebridge area (a van is available for work use) plus hybrid working from office and home as needed to complete admin tasks with Chy Trevail in Bodmin as your official base.

This role is subject to a Basic Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) Check. We are committed to safeguarding the welfare of all our service users clients and customers. This role is at times working with vulnerable individuals and/or children and young people so youll be asked to complete a relevant DBS check to be successfully appointed to the role.
