Ginsbergs Foods is looking to hire a fulltime CDL A Delivery Driver Trainee that can commute to our Hyde Park and Hudson location! No driving experience required!
Do you enjoy getting paid to work out and travel all while supporting your local community Do you enjoy having an exceptional worklife balance where you can be out of work in the afternoon and have every Saturday and Sunday off Then join our certified Commerical Driving School as a Driver Trainee to receiving one on one paid CDL training by our experience trainers and progress you towards obtaining youre CDL A license!
Weekly Work Schedule:
Monday Friday start and end times vary day to day. Some days this position will report out of our domicile location in Hyde Park and other days will report to our main facility in Hudson.
Pay for this position starts at $18 $21 per hour. Opportunities to earn annual performancebased raises available!
- $25/hr with Class A permit once enrolled in the Training Program!
- $28/hr upon receiving Class A license!
Additional rapid pay increases available based on time spent with the company!
Once we train you to get your A license youll sign a 2 year loyalty commitment to keep driving with us! This allows you to continue growing your experience with a company that wants to see you develop and succeed with a safetyfirst mentality in mind!
Training will include everything needed to pass a Class A road test. You will learn and become familiar with the back of a box truck and CDL A truck the products we carry different ways to safely deliver products using a hand cart and ramp and get to know our customers as well as our awesome team!
Essential Job Requirements:
- Physically unloads heavy product (cases weigh up to 80lbs) from the truck at customer locations using a hand truck and ramps.
- Navigates various surfaces inclines steps and stairs while delivering product to the appropriate location (dry cooler frozen) at the customers place of business.
- Interacts in a professional manner with customers attempting to resolve concerns as they arise.
- Receives cash from customers when necessary and handles cash in accordance with company policy.
- In accordance with Ginsbergs Foods policy and procedures conducts pretrip and posttrip inspections on the tractor and trailer.
