Job Description
Type of Law: Prosecution of State crimes occurring within the geographical jurisdiction of Charles County Maryland.
Job Description: ASAs willappear in the District and Circuit Court for Charles County Maryland and represent the State in criminal cases. Each attorney is responsible for litigating his/her assigned casesto include advising police entities on investigations reviewing and approving search and seizure warrants providing discovery summonsing and interviewing witnessesobtaining physical and digital evidence for use at trial preparing pleadingslitigating pretrialmotionslitigating jury/bench trialslitigatingsentencinghearings litigatinghearings onpostconvictionandreconsideration of sentence motions and other duties as assigned.
Salary: Starting at $95000. Starting salary dependent upon prior prosecutorial experience. Medical dental and pension benefits included.
Experience: 510 years of experience. Must be admitted to the Maryland Bar.
