The Marketing program at St. Cloud State University has one fixedterm position available to teach business communication and career development courses. This is a fulltime 2semester position.
Teach undergraduate business communication and career development courses (both inperson and online) and contribute to achievement of departmental goals which include:
Providing an effective learning environment for students
Contributing to college curriculum and program development and enhancement
Contributing to student growth and development such as student advising
Continuing development of professional knowledge and skills in business and professional communication
Performing service to the program college university and our various publics such as committee assignments and/or community service
Assisting the school in maintaining AACSB International accreditation
Minimum Qualifications
Masters degree in business communication English Technical Communication or degree related to professional communication from a nationally accredited college or university
Evidence of professional communication experience in business academic or nonprofit organizations
Ability to contribute to program goals
Ability to teach and work effectively with persons from culturally diverse backgrounds
Willingness to provide service to the university community
Preferred Qualification
Evidence of experience teaching or training professional communication in industry and/or academic settings
Willingness to contribute to student growth and development
