CenClear is looking for Camp Support Staff. CenClear is partnering with Flying Dove Ranch in Ridgway for an eightweek Summer Kids Camp. Campers can include student aged individuals ranging from FirstEighth grade. This is a temporary position based on an eightweek schedule.

Location: MondayThursday at Flying Dove Ranch in Ridgway PA
Position: This is a temporary position working Monday through Friday for approximately 8 weeks starting June 9thAugust 7th (there will be no camp on July 3rd or the week of July 710.
Hours: MondayThursday 8:00 AM4:00 PM. Kids will be on site from 8:30 to 3:30 with the option of arriving early at 8 am and late pick up until 4 pm if scheduled.A day of training will be scheduled prior to camp starting.
Pay: $13.54 per hour
General Description of Duties:
Support staff will be responsible to assist the Camp Director for the overall day to day running of the summer camp staff will assist with the supervision of campers. Support staff will assist with leading activities for campers to have an enjoyable summer staff with lifeguard certification will act as lifeguards during any waterbased activity or zip staff may be asked to assist with the transportation of campers to/from the site or for offsite scheduled activities. Support staff will assist with camp set up of activities and clean up throughout the day as well as securing materials / equipment. Support staff will assist director inidentification and development of scheduled activities. Support staff will collaborate with the camp director and parents to address any concerns that arise with any specific camper. Support staff will work to promote camps for this summer and future summer camps.
Education/Experience:
- Be at least 18 years old however 25 years old or older is preferred in case there is a need to drive agency vehicle to transport campers. Have a current valid drivers license with a safe driving record.
- High school diploma or GED or higher education in a related field preferred.
- Current CPR and First Aide certification
- Lifeguard certification and experience preferred.
- Prior experience working with children and adolescents.
- Prior experience working as part of a team.
- Prior experience with camping recreational activities scouting and/or teaching.
Skills/Knowledge/Ability:
- Ability to work with minimal supervision/oversight.
- Enthusiasm and creativity and willingness to make camp a fun experience for the campers.
- Familiarity with activities that fit into the camp weekly themes nondenominational Christian religious activities and therapeutic activities.
- Familiarity with optional activities and their safety requirements available through Flying Dove Ranch to utilize these during camp for camper activities: zip line archery rifle target shooting etc.
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Be able to use basic computer programs such as word excel email.
Must have the following Clearances:
- PA Criminal Record (State Police)
- Child Abuse History Check
- FBI ClearancePA Department of Human Services
- Mandated Reporting Certificatefree .
