Overview
Selux in Highland is currently accepting applications for an Assembly Technician.
Pay rate: $17.50$18.50/hour
Assemblersuse a variety of hand and power tools fixtures work instructions and test equipment. Indidviduals will perform a series of operations to correctly assemble mechanical and electrical parts with the team.
Qualifications
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise instructions and procedures.
- Ability to meet production standard times.
- Proficiency in using hand tools power tools and measuring tools.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fastpaced continuous workflow production environment while maintaining quality standards and meeting deadlines.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to read and comprehend procedures written in English.
Responsibilities
- Employ lean manufacturing concepts to support continuous improvement and waste elimination.
- Utilizes manufacturing knowledge to improve process operations and affect positive change.
- Perform assembly tasks following standardized work instructions and procedures while meeting production standard times to ensure continuous work flow.
- Utilize hand tools power tools and machinery to assemble components accurately and efficiently.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and guidelines during assembly processes.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and other departments to ensure smooth assembly operations.
- Communicate openly and proactively to address any challenges or issues that may arise during the assembly process.
- Performs ERP transactions accurately to company policies and procedures.
- Provide hands on job function training to coworkers as needed.
- Maintains a clean and organized work area to facilitate manufacturing functions.
