At Leidos Airborne Solutions Australia we do more than fly we safeguard borders and save lives. As a trusted partner to the Australian Government we lead critical airborne special missions from border surveillance to lifesaving searchandrescue operations covering over 10 of the Earths surface. In addition to our aviation bases across Australia and the Indian Ocean Territories we operate a 24/7 Operations Centre Systems Integration Lab and Mission Equipment Service Centre to ensure mission success. We collaborate with local SMEs to prototype and test advanced mission management systems integrating cuttingedge ISR technology.

Your New Role and Responsibilities
The Mission Systems Technician plays a key role in our success and we currently have an opportunity available for a passionate driven person who is keen to develop and grow a career with us.
Control and maintenance of Aeronautical Products and Commercial Off the Shelf mission/role equipment.
Carry out all maintenance documentation supervision and applicable certification in compliance with relevant regulations policy manuals component maintenance manuals and procedures.
Assist and provide full cooperation with auditors and investigators during audits and investigations.
Liaise with Component OEMs responsible CAMOs Project teams Suppliers Customers and/or Engineering/Logistics staff.
Comply with company Safety WHS and Quality policies/procedures.
What Youll Bring to Make An Impact
Certificate IV in Aeroskills or relevant trade experience i.e. electronics electrical and/or telecommunications trade skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet agreed deadlines
Good communication skills with the ability to liaise with team members from all levels within the organisation.
Sound skills in IT maintenance repairs and diagnostics
Able to travel nationally and internationally when required

This role does require the successful applicant to be an Australian Citizen and bewilling to obtain and hold a Baseline security clearance.
