Job Description
Mitchell Technical College is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) Program Director to join Mitchell Technical College in developing the Physical Therapy Assistant program for Fall 2027.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Experience
- A minimum of five years of fulltime postlicensure experience that includes a minimum of three years of fulltime clinical experience
- Experience in classroom lab or clinical teaching.
- Experience in administration management and leadership.
- Degree
- A minimum of a masters degree.
- Credentials/Licensing
- Hold an active unencumbered PT license or PTA license/certification and is in compliance with the practice act in the jurisdiction where the program is located.
- Earned a minimum of 60 contact hours of professional development or education in all of the following: educational theory and methodology instructional design student evaluation and outcome assessment.
The Physical Therapy Assistant Program Director position will:
- Begin on February 1 2025
- Teach theory direct skills practice labs simulations and clinicals in a variety of settings within the Physical Therapy Assistant program.
- Be responsible for program development curriculum development assessment of learning outcomes and advising students for degree and career success.
