Location/Division Specific Information: Our Hillsboro site produces worldclass electron microscopes used by scientists and engineers to drive innovation around the globe. This role works collaboratively to produce highquality systems used in the Semiconductor industry.
The Manufacturing Team Lead is responsible for directing a team of hourly colleagues within a test manufacturing environment. The primary responsibilities include daytoday oversight of departmental goals for Safety Quality Delivery Inventory Productivity and Employee Development. This position works closely with manufacturing leadership and engineering teams to ensure quick resolution to issues affecting the manufacturing build process.
What will you do

- Conducting performance evaluations
- Give and receive employee feedback
- Staffing
- Timecard administration and overtime management
- PTO and overall attendance tracking
- Workload Management
- Plan and track daily and weekly production metrics to supervise work in progress
- Facilitate regular team meetings to discuss updates on workload
- Resolve production problems in real time
- Oversee & drive 6S program in areas of ownership
- First line of response for manufacturing team when they face problems
- Report out results and barriers to to upper management
How will you get here
Education
- Minimum of Associates Degree or equivalent experience with a leadership and/or technical focus
Experience
- 2 years of tech manufacturing experience
- 2 years of experience leading a team of 5 strongly preferred
- Experience conducting interviews and making hiring decisions preferred
- Experience with Windowsbased and MS Office programs required (Word Excel Outlook and Access)
Preferred Knowledge Skills Abilities
- Ability to lift to 35lbs
- Ability to sit or stand in a cleanroom for an 8hour shift
- Knowledge of electronics manufacturing high voltage and ultrahigh vacuum
- Ability to read work instructions and schematic drawings while performing basic troubleshooting
- Ability to support projects perform training and work efficiently as part of cohesive teams
- Selfmotivated selfstarter with strong interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated skills in developing team members to their best potential.
- Comfortable operating in a cleanroom environment using appropriate PPE
- Strong sense of personal ownership and accountability for team performance
- Comfortable communicating and maintaining clear standards
- Strong communication skills successful in partnering with colleagues of differing cultural language and educational backgrounds
- Familiarity with using and creating process maps
