Job Description

The Department of Management at Mays Business School Texas A&M University invites applications for a fulltime Academic Professional Track (Non Tenure) faculty position with a 9month academic appointment beginning August 1 2025. Applicants will be considered for the faculty titles of Clinical Assistant or Associate Professor Lecturer Senior or Principal Lecturer and Assistant or Associate Professor of Practice depending on qualifications.

The successful candidate is expected to teach in the areas of Project Management Organizational Change Negotiations and Strategy among other Strategy topics. For this position we seek qualified members who have interest or experience in teaching at the undergraduate and graduate level (e.g. BBA MBA MS professional MBA executive MBA) in the synchronous and asynchronous formats. Position may involve teaching in summer semesters as well. The teaching load will be six courses per year for Clinical Professortrack and Professor of Practicetrack and eight courses for Lecturertrack. Other service expectations are commensurate with the position level.

For appointments at the Clinical Assistant Professor or Clinical Associate Professor level applicants must possess a doctorate in the appropriate discipline: Management Business Sociology education Psychology or related field.

For appointments at the Assistant Professor of Practice or Associate Professor of Practice level applicants must possess considerable industry experience in related domains.

Preferred qualifications include a record of academic and or industry excellence passion for teaching commitment to scholarship the ability to work effectively with colleagues and students and enthusiasm to be a part of and fully engaged with a collegial and committed faculty.
