Job Description
Job Title: Senior Java Backend Developer
Location: Phoenix Arizona / Salt Lake City Utah (Hybrid)
Experience: 910 years
Rate: $58 60/hr C2C
Preferred: ExAmex candidates / Solid profiles
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Java Backend Developer with extensive experience in designing and developing scalable highperformance backend systems. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Spring Boot Microservices Vertex and One Data and will work closely with crossfunctional teams to develop and maintain backend services.
Key Responsibilities:-
Develop implement and maintain robust and scalable backend solutions using Java Spring Boot and Microservices architecture.

Design and optimize highperformance APIs and data processing workflows.

Work with Vertex and One Data to build efficient data solutions.

Collaborate with product managers architects and frontend developers to ensure seamless integration.

Troubleshoot debug and optimize application performance.

Maintain high code quality security and best practices.

Participate in code reviews design discussions and Agile development processes.

910 years of strong Java backend development experience.

Handson expertise in Spring Boot and Microservices.

Experience working with Vertex and One Data.

Solid understanding of RESTful API development and cloudbased architectures.

Experience with relational and NoSQL databases.

Strong debugging and problemsolving skills.

Experience with DevOps tools CI/CD pipelines and containerization is a plus.

Previous experience in American Express (Amex) projects is highly preferred.

Hybrid Candidates must be comfortable working onsite in Phoenix AZ or Salt Lake City UT as needed.
