A Day in the Life:
- Efficiently and safely operate assigned machinery performing simple maintenance and necessary adjustments.
- Participate in line opening and machine setup.
- Follow all written procedures and report discrepancies to the Area Supervisor.
- Document work accurately ensuring quality and compliance.
- Monitor products continuously for defects.
- Suggest improvements for the production process.
- Assist in the training and development of peers.
- Ensure materials and supplies are delivered to the production line maintaining continuous workflow.
- Handle waste management and disposal in compliance with regulations.
- Apply SAP for tracking inventory materials and production data.
- Occasionally support operational needs on the production line.
- Operate a forklift for material transport.
- Maintain a high pace to meet production goals and deadlines.
- Adapt to various tasks and responsibilities as required.
Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent experience required.
Experience:
- Minimum of 1 year of work experience in manufacturing operations production or a related field required.
- Experience in a cGMP environment preferred.
- Forklift certification or experience operating a forklift preferred.
Knowledge Skills Abilities:
- Proficiency in English including technical and scientific language.
- Basic math skills including addition subtraction multiplication and division.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Proficiency in SAP for inventory and production tracking.
Physical Requirements / Work Environment:
- Ability to stand for up to 10 hours a day.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to perform repetitive movements including pushing pulling lifting twisting bending grasping and crouching.
