Major responsibilities
Software development to create scalable solutions for business problems
Analyze and extract relevant information from large amounts of Amazons historical business data to help automate and optimize key processes
Design development and evaluation of highly innovative models system/service for predictive learning
Work closely with applied scientist to drive realtime model implementations and new feature creations
Work closely with operations staff to optimize various business operations
Establish scalable efficient automated processes for large scale data analyses model development model validation and model implementation
Track general business activity and provide clear compelling management reporting on a regular basis
Research and implement novel machine learning and statistical approaches

Recommendations Systems
Search Relevance
Catalog Quality
We leverage the latest AWS technologies to build scalable reliable and cuttingedge solutions that directly impact millions of customers worldwide.
Deploy stateoftheart machine learning models to tackle complex business problems.
Design and build endtoend ML pipelines for model training evaluation and deployment.
Collaborate with scientists engineers and product managers to drive business impact through ML solutions.
Continuously innovate and simplify processes to improve system performance and efficiency.
What Were Looking For
Passionate in Machine Learning especially Large Language Models.
Proficiency in Python and TypeScript.
Experience with AWS services such as SageMaker EC2 Lambda and Step Functions.
Strong knowledge of data structures algorithms and software design.
Passion for solving challenging problems and delivering business impact.
3 years of noninternship professional software development experience
2 years of noninternship design or architecture (design patterns reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
Experience programming with at least one software programming language
3 years of full software development life cycle including coding standards code reviews source control management build processes testing and operations experience
Bachelors degree in computer science or equivalent

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $129300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $223600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on jobrelated knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered equity signon payments and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package in addition to a full range of medical financial and/or other benefits.
