Job Description

The Finance and Global Business Services (FGBS) PXT supports Amazon Finance organization and within this organization is the FGBS University Programs (FinUP) team. The FinUP team runs two CFO supported programs for student hires in FGBS: the Amazon Finance Rotation Program (AFRP) for undergraduate talent and Finance Leadership Development Program (FLDP) for MBA talent. These programs attract and develop high potential recent graduates. We accelerate their career by developing a broad understanding of the business building a robust professional network building technical skills and preparing them to lead a team.

The Program Coordinator within FinUP plays a crucial role in helping us execute on a bar raising participant experience. We are looking for a detail oriented and organized candidate with a passion for conference/event planning and strong written communication skills. The FinUP coordinator serves in a support role to the FinUP team and enables FinUP to deliver in new ways for our stakeholders.

This role manages crossfunctional projects across multiple PMs partners with stakeholders and sets project priorities aligned with program goals. You will plan and execute events trainings and development strategies for program participants. You will be the common thread between the program leads to bring consistency and insist on high standards for the team.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate the following skills:

Key job responsibilities
Support and partner with the program leads on communications scheduling and initiatives for the programs
Execute and oversee logistics for all major team events including internship events onboarding and graduation
Own participant experience initiatives including regular surveys swag events etc.
Manage team budget calendars communication channels and drives
Write and send communications to program participants and leaders
Execute multiple projects to successful completion
Implement process improvement initiatives using data and metrics.
Manage contracts and partnerships with external vendors.

A day in the life
The role will support the planning and in person of at least four conferences a year including onboarding weeks intern conferences and ongoing learning and development opportunities. When we are not in conference season a typical week may include drafting communications partnering with the FinUP program managers on program managing surveys responding to candidate inquiries and proactively planning for the season ahead.

2 years of program or project management experience
Bachelors degree or equivalent
Clear and concise written and verbal communication
Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables VLookUps)

2 years of driving process improvements experience
Experience in stakeholder management dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization
Experience building processes project management and schedules

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $50100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $107200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on jobrelated knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered equity signon payments and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package in addition to a full range of medical financial and/or other benefits.
