The Department of BioMolecular Sciences has 19 fulltime faculty with research emphases in medicinal chemistry pharmacognosy pharmacology and environmental toxicology. The department has teaching responsibilities in several degree programs including the Pharm.D. (Doctor of Pharmacy) as well as M.S. and Ph.D. programs in Pharmaceutical Sciences. The Natural Center for Natural Products Research and the National Center for Cannabis Research and Education are within the School of Pharmacy at the University of Mississippi.

Updates course curriculum and materials under the supervision of instructional staff or faculty in support of instructional advancement.
The Department of BioMolecular Sciences in the School of Pharmacy at The University of Mississippi invites applications for a full time Instructional Design and Training Specialist as an oncampus remote or hybrid position.
The successful candidate will have
Familiarity with learning management systems in particular Blackboard
Proficiency in eLearning platforms such as Articulate 360
Demonstrated ability to create new content from content material from faculty
Capacity to ensure consistency across courses and content delivery in the program
The responsibilities of the position are to
These essential functions include but are not limited to the following. Additional essential functions may be identified and included by the hiring department.
1. Organizes and develops curricula materials and programs to meet specific training needs.
2. Partners with subject matter experts to provide input for course content.
3. Works to ensure course materials are current and relevant.
4. Plans and coordinates skill assessments and trainings.
5. Edits reviews and updates existing materials based on curriculum changes.
Education: Bachelors Degree
Experience:3 Three Years Experience

Applicants should have a bachelors degree in educational technology instructional design or a related field and three years of experience in teaching online instruction and/or instructional design. Candidates with experience in STEM are encouraged.
