Job Description
Preferred experience in laser welding microwelding electron beam welding or a combination of CNC machine operations
and TIG welding.
Experience setting up and running CNC machines or mechanical skills is preferred .
Excellent time management skills.
Excellent communication skills.
Ability to work both as a team and individually.
Flexibility to work occasional overtime.
Must be physically capable of standing walking bending kneeling and stooping.
Read and understand blueprints and production control documents
Perform prescribed maintenance as required such as lens cleaning mode alignments and maintaining workstation
cleanliness.
Perform 1st and 2nd piece inspections including dimensional inspections such as Total Indicator Runout or TIR.
Knowledge and use of measuring devices such as calipers micrometers and dial indicators.
Ability to log information about a job both manually (written) and electronically.
Think critically to identify and troubleshoot issues at the laser to ensure the job runs correctly.
Work closely with the Engineering team.
Adhere to continuous improvement processes.
Must be open to crosstraining on new equipment.
Must be able to work in a fastpaced environment.
Communicate effectively with supervisors managers and other departments.
Performs additional duties as assigned by management.
