At GD we are looking for a Global Supplier Quality Engineerwithin the team based in El Prat de Llobregat Barcelona.
She/He will be responsible for coordination role inside the GD EP Global Quality management organization to ensure the delivery of final manufactured product which meets or exceed customer expectations by monitoring external (suppliers) processes while keeping strong link with internal operations promoting its continuous improvment to achieve it in a sustainable and efficient manner.
Responsabilities
- Be the escalation level towards Head of Global Supplier Quality GD EP.
- Contribute in the definition of acceptance and rejection baseline criteria and its transcription to technical specifications and defect catalogues when needed.
- Provide global Supplier Quality performance track of corrective actions and cost recovery data on monthly basis and for Supplier business reviews with Purchasing.
- Fix major issue root causes and prevent reoccurrence.
- Review with Head of Global Supplier Quality on corrective actions from major nonconformances and critical quality events and lessons learned.
- Prepare monthly review with GD EP manufacturing sites to track and understand nonconformances and critical quality events caused by supplied materials.
- Prepare monthly review with Purchasing to track & implement corrective action from Supplier nonconformances and cost recovery status.
- Sustain and improve supplier developments and improvement measures.
- Initiate Hypercare Phase for new Suppliers and implement extra quality measures.
- Be the backup for the Suppler Quality Engineer for Module materials.
Education and experience
Ingeniera en Materiales Electrnica Manufactura o Mecnica.
3 aos de experiencia en entornos de produccin e internacionales.
Experiencia en organizaciones de Calidad y metodologas como 8D 5 Why Ishikawa FMEA.
Habilidad analtica toma de decisiones basada en datos y mentalidad resolutiva.
Capacidad para trabajar con equipos globales y multiculturales.
Ingls fluido y disponibilidad para viajar.
Valorable:
Experiencia en manufactura de tarjetas inteligentes y sus procesos.
Conocimiento en interaccin con Compras Operaciones ID y Gestin de Producto.
