Job Description
We are looking for an exceptional Software Engineerto work with our crossfunctional team and join our worldclass community of talented developers in the exciting field of information technology.
The Core Networks & First Line Maintenance (TCNF) unit is responsible for the core network: from planning to development to operation we are responsible end to end and provide the functions and capacities in the core network in the highest quality nationally and internationally.
The Super Squad Automation and Data Analytics is a competence center for IT and automation within TCNF. We construct and manage solutions for automating infrastructure rollout as well as IP address management while also establishing the groundwork for datadriven decisionmaking through our data analytics platform. We are currently taking over a new responsibility to modernize the data center infrastructure management of TCNF and affiliated organizations.
In this context you will develop solutions to automatically extract information from floor and building plans using Machine Learning and rulebased image recognition approaches. You will collaborate closely with Data Scientists Software and DevOps engineers.

Your daily tasks:
- Design and implement software solutions in Python for data extraction from Visio files.
- Integrate the developed solutions into our existing environment
- Design and implement lightweight visualizations of the detected/extracted objects
- Develop solutions to measure the accuracy of the detection algorithms
- Collaborate with DevOps engineers to Improve the CI/CD Pipeline

- Python Jupyter Postgres/SQL
- ML and related Frameworks (pytorch opencv2 Shapely)
- Label Studio
- Linux Docker Kubernetes
- Microsoft Visio
- GitLab JIRA Confluence
Qualifications :
- University degree in computer science or a similar qualification
- Minimum 3 years of experience in professional software development using python
- Proven familiarity with SQL
- Proficiency with version control / GIT
- Experience with REST APIs (Flask)
- Strong experience with Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Deployment (CD) processes
- Experienced with Linux Docker and Kubernetes and cloud native applications
- Experience in agile methodologies
- Team spirit and the desire to accept diverse challenges
- Excellent analytical and conceptional skills
- Fluent in English both written and spoken
Advantages:
- Knowledge of German is helpful
- Experience in development projects in crossfunctional and international teams
- Practical Experience with Machine Learning frameworks in python such as pytorch opencv2 Keras or Tensorflow
- Knowledge of Microsoft Visio
- Skills/Interest in geometric topics like coordinate transformations
- Experience with OpenAI APIs
- Familiarity with code analysis tools
