Job Summary:
We are seeking a resultsdriven and technically proficient Business Developer FM Hard Services to lead business growth initiatives for our facility management operations in Cte dIvoire. The ideal candidate will leverage their wealth of experience as an FM Technical Manager in a reputable facilities management company to identify and secure new business opportunities in hard services including HVAC MEP Electrical Civil and building maintenance.
Key Responsibilities:
(A) Business Development:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in hard facilities management (FM) services across the commercial industrial and public sectors.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key clients consultants property developers and government agencies.
- Lead proposal preparation including technical and commercial submissions for tenders and bids.
- Develop sales strategies pipeline plans and revenue forecasts aligned with regional growth objectives.
B) Technical Expertise & Solution Design:
- Leverage deep technical knowledge to design tailored facility management solutions (HVAC MEP electrical etc..
- Conduct site assessments and prepare technical presentations for prospective clients.
- Collaborate with operations and engineering teams to ensure proposed solutions are operationally viable and costeffective.
(C) Market Intelligence & Strategy:
- Analyze market trends competitor activity and client feedback to refine business strategies.
- Identify opportunities for service differentiation and innovation in hard FM services.
- Contribute to the development of pricing models and service delivery frameworks.
(D) Reporting & Coordination:
- Prepare regular reports on business development activities pipeline status and performance against targets.
- Coordinate closely with the West Africa Country Manager and regional leadership on strategic initiatives.
- Represent the company at industry events exhibitions and stakeholder meetings.
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Engineering (Mechanical Electrical or Civil) or related technical discipline.
- Minimum 5 years experience as an FM Technical Manager in a reputable facility management company in Cte dIvoire or West Africa.
- Proven track record in business development or client acquisition within the hard FM services sector.
- Indepth knowledge of HVAC MEP and building maintenance operations.
- Strong network within the real estate construction and infrastructure sectors in Cte dIvoire.
- Excellent communication negotiation and presentation skills.
- Fluent in French and proficient in English (spoken and written).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Professional certifications in FM (e.g. IFMA PMP NEBOSH) are an advantage.
- Experience working in a multinational or regional FM company.
- Familiarity with publicprivate partnerships (PPP) or government tendering processes.
