THE ROLE
The Counseling Program at The Family Institute at Northwestern University invites applications for a Core Faculty onground in Evanston Illinois (fulltime nontenure courtesy rank/promotion eligible). This is a 12month nontenure track with clinical practice expectations at The Family Institute at Northwestern University. Teaching in person classes during the academic year (September to June) with clinical practice expectations yearround. This position may include opportunities for teaching additional courses/overload.
The Department seeks experienced counselor education candidates who have expertise in Clinical Mental Health Counseling (CMHC). The Counseling Department at The Family Institute at Northwestern University is CACREP accredited as one program with two delivery methods (on ground and online). They will be multiculturally competent and demonstrate counselor identity though memberships and participation in regional national and/or international professional associations and conferences. The ideal candidate will support the programs historical foundation in psychodynamic and/or integrative thought and reflective practice and will be able to teach several courses in the CACREPaccredited curriculum. The successful candidate will have a track record of excellence in teaching clinical practice and graduate student supervision and mentorship. They will have a strong commitment to scholarship and experience in faculty teams and committees. This is a fulltime nontenured position with the possibility of promotion through the courtesy rank/promotion of Clinical Lecturer through Clinical Full Professor at Northwestern University.

Compensation is based on a number of factors including but not limited to: scope and responsibilities of the position; a candidates applicable work experience key skills and qualifications as well as internal and external market considerations. The pay range for this fulltime exempt position is $88000.00 $126500.00/year.
