The Division of Family and Community Services is seeing to hire a coordinator to oversee the Commodity and Special Nutrition Program (CSNP) for the Bureau of Family Nutrition. This position completes quarterly monitoring evaluation and observations of SNAP Education and other assigned programs to assess progress towards meeting program goals and ensures compliance with federal and state program requirements; assists with the collection and reporting of data regarding participation and demographics of participants at both the state and federal levels; participates in routine (bimonthly/quarterly) meetings with state and federal SNAP Education/Outreach and Commodity Supplemental Food Program (CSFP) staffs and contracted provider agencies to evaluate program effectiveness streamline program reporting and improve fiscal oversight; and collaborates with other State agencies and organizations charged with reducing food insecurity to coordinate efforts and maximize use of resources.
Serves as the Commodity and Special Nutrition Program (CSNP) Coordinator for the Division of Family and Community Services (FCS).
Completes quarterly monitoring evaluation and observations of SNAP Education and other assigned programs to assess progress towards meeting program goals and ensures compliance with federal and state program requirements.
Assists with the collection and reporting of data regarding participation and demographics of participants at both the state and federal levels.
Travels to participate in routine (bimonthly/quarterly) meetings with state and federal SNAP Education/Outreach and Commodity Supplemental Food Program (CSFP) staffs and contracted provider agencies to evaluate program effectiveness streamline program reporting and improve fiscal oversight.
Collaborates with other State agencies and organizations charged with reducing food insecurity to coordinate efforts and maximize use of resources.
Performs other duties as required or assigned which are reasonable within the scope of the duties enumerated above.
Requires knowledge skill and mental development equivalent to completion of four 4 years of college preferably with courses in business or public administration.
Requires two 2 years of responsible administrative experience in a public or business organization.
Of the two 2 years of required experience requires one 1 year working in a Federal Nutrition Assistance Programs such as SNAP Education or SNAP Outreach to improve policy systems and environments for lowincome communities and one 1 year of programmatic and fiscal oversight of programming including utilizing spreadsheet software in order to design create and utilize complex tracking tools and reports.

Two 2 years of professional experience analyzing administrative problems and adopting an effective course of action.
Two 2 years of professional experience interacting with and communicating in oral and written form with internal and external stakeholders.
Requires ability to travel in the performance of duties with overnight stays as appropriate.
Requires the ability to work outside of normal work hours.
