The School of Visual Arts in the College of Arts and Architecture at The Pennsylvania State University (Penn State University Park campus) invites candidates to apply for a position in sculpture at the rank of Assistant Teaching Professor of Art starting in Fall 2025 (August).
This position is a fulltime 36week ninemonth nontenure track faculty appointment funded for one year with the possibility of renewal.
The successful candidate will be primarily responsible for teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in sculpture. We are seeking qualified candidates who demonstrate a commitment to working with conceptually relevant materials and techniques and who embrace an interdisciplinary approach to both artmaking and critical thinking.
