We are now looking for two multiskilled maintenance engineers to join the engineering team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a confident engineer who is unafraid to challenge decisions and capable of working both as part of a team and on their own to join one of the manufacturing sectors most exciting and progressive companies.

The role
Reporting to the engineering site leader your main tasks will be the repair and planned maintenance of our automated equipment and continuous improvement. Some development engineering work may also be available to an appropriately qualified candidate.
Based predominantly at our Hellaby site in Rotherham or our Old West Gun Works site in Sheffield however you will be expected to travel between all six Gripple Ltd manufacturing sites four of which are in the Lower Don Valley area of Sheffield so you will need to be in possession of a full UK/EU driving licence.
Who you are
The ideal candidate should ideally be apprentice trained with experience in a highvolume manufacturing environment. You must be extremely team oriented and IT literate with excellent communication skills. You should be mechanically biased but with some electrical ability and experience. You should also have knowledge of some if not all the following:

Working hours
The position will entail working regular mornings and afternoons Monday to Friday as well as night shifts and weekend work to meet the demands of the business. A flexible can do attitude is therefore paramount.
