Job Description

TRA Medical Imaging is hiring for multiple MRI Technologists to join our team. Interested in a new fulltime role or just looking to add shifts that work around your existing schedule With locations across the South Puget Sound and flexible schedules from 0.5 up to 1.0 FTE TRA could be the right fit for you!

Pay and Benefits:

Pay:$45.49 $77.35 per hour based on relevant experience skills and abilities. This role is also eligible for a $10000.00 sign on bonus (based on FTE)!

Job Summary:

This job is responsible for performing MR functions in accordance with ARRT standards and ethics. Incumbent must be proficient with computer applications with an emphasis on technical systems strong knowledge of crosssectional anatomy pathophysiology and magnetic resonance physics. MR Technologist performs duties under the general supervision of Site Manager MRI Modality Specialist and the Radiologist.

Essential Job Functions:

  1. Prepares patients for MR exams with thorough explanations of the procedures and clear instructions.
  2. Utilizes Hitachi Open MRI and Siemens Symphony scanners
  3. Obtains a thorough patient history as it related to the exam to be completed.
  4. Accurately implements the orders of the referring physician producing images with minimum repeatability.
  5. Performs IV punctures.
  6. Performs necessary computer functions associated with patient exam. (PACS)
  7. Keeps work area and patient exam areas neat and stocked with appropriate supplies.
  8. Participates in orientation and inservice training for personnel.
  9. Check work email daily.
  10. Performs all other related duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements

Work is classified as moderate in physical requirements. Must be able to assist in supporting patients of varying weight. Ability to stand walk or sit for extended periods of time. Reaching by extending hand(s) or arm(s) in any direction. Also requires manual dexterity sufficient to operate a keyboard photocopier telephone calculator and other office equipment as necessary.

Mental Requirements

Work requires high attention to detail and the ability to handle mentally stressful situations. The ability to maintain high level of sensitivity towards confidential information is also required.

Working/Environmental Conditions

Work environment consists of normal office or administrative working conditions. There may be exposure to communicable diseases. There will be limited exposure to ionizing radiation.
