Job Duties:
Wilson Workforce and Rehabilitation Center (WWRC) Admissions office is seeking a Direct Service Associate III. This position will gather organize and review referral information based on determined admission criteria. In addition this position will have responsibilities within the Consumer Satisfaction Division including but not limited to admission intake enrollment and agency policyrequired paperwork; logistical guidance; assisting the clients with the initial movein activities to their assigned residence; and new student orientation activities. The Admissions Program Support associate will also provide administrative support to the admissions department administration and other areas as needed.
Minimum Qualifications:
Graduated from a high school or equivalent program.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Intermediate level of knowledge to interpret and analyze medical and psychological
terminology.
A proficient level of knowledge related to aspects of various disabilities.
Some knowledge of vocational rehabilitation.
Competent in independently compiling a broad range of information and applying
to written criteria for planning of supports services and goal appropriateness.
The ability to work independently is essential.
Additional Considerations:
Graduate of an accredited college or university in a program in human services.

This has been designated a sensitive position under Va. Code 2.21201.1.
