Sr. Sourcing Analyst IT Procurement:

CVS Healths Enterprise Procurement department a key function within the companys Global Business Services organization is in search of a Senior Analyst to join the IT Strategic Sourcing & Category Management team. In this role you will be responsible for leading the of complex highimpact RFx events for indirect products and services within the software infrastructure Cloud/SaaS and Healthcare Platform categories.

In addition to managing large sourcing events this role will also be responsible for supporting the Category Managers and Lead Director with category strategy and pipeline development. This role reports directly to the Lead Director IT Strategic Sourcing & Category Management and will work in a team environment that provides support and guidance to ensure that Enterprise Procurement is effectively serving its internal stakeholders.

The Strategic Sourcing team manages over $10B in annual indirect spend across a range of IT and nonIT categories that support key business units across the enterprise (Retail PBM Insurance Specialty/Clinical etc.. As a Senior Analyst on the Sourcing team you should have an enterprise mindset possess an entrepreneurial selfstarting mentality and be a strong communicator who is able to establish lasting relationships with business leaders as well as internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute and lead a variety of complex highvalue high visibility sourcing events in support of category.

  • Support development of category plans pipeline and other category materials.

  • Manage expiring contract process to support pipeline development for category.

  • Work with Sourcing Category Managers to develop the strategy and approach for each RFx event.

  • Organize and lead effective meetings with internal stakeholder and external suppliers.

  • As appropriate delegate RFx events and tasks to Sourcing Analysts and provide guidance to ensure successful .

  • Conduct market research that supports negotiation strategies and award decisions for each sourcing event.

  • Compile scope of work and requirements analyze and evaluate vendor proposals and negotiate final commercial terms.

  • Develop and confidently present analysis both quantitative and qualitative to Procurement and Business leadership to obtain approval to award business.

  • Effectively communicate and demonstrate Strategic Sourcings value proposition to internal business partners/stakeholders.

In order to be successful in this role you must exhibit the following:

  • Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills with an ability to confidently and expertly interact with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Strong analytical ability strategic thinker learn and process new information quickly.

  • Ability to quickly capture analyze and summarize large data sets

  • Strong organization and project management skills.

  • Shown ability to handle multiple tasks without direct supervision while paying strong attention to detail and followup

  • Intellectually curious eager to gain new experiences qualifications and responsibilities.

This role will ideally be a hybrid position based out of Buffalo Grove IL or Woonsocket RI and candidates within a commutable distance to one of these locations will be required to be in office Tuesdays and Wednesday and 2 Thursdays per month.

Required Qualifications:

3 years of professional experience related to Sourcing & Category Management Finance Supply Chain Procurement Analytics or Project Management.

Ability to travel up to 10 for supplier presentations site visits and key department meetings at RI Headquarters (no more than quarterly).

Education

Bachelors degree required or equivalent years of related experience.

Preferred Qualifications

Healthcare Platform & Solution knowledge.

Working knowledge of problem solving and decision making skills.

APICS Certified Supply Chain Analyst (CSCA) preferred.

Negotiation Skills / Experience.

Vendor Management / Consolidation Experience.

Experience with electronic sourcing platforms such as Ariba eSourcing etc.

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$46988.00 $112200.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual fulltime salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience education geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus commission or shortterm incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
