AWS Professional Services Cloud Migration Consultant with IaC automation Cloud Formation & Terraform experience. Deep expertise in Data Center Applications Servers & Storage migrations from onpremise to cloud or cloud to cloud. Experience in assessing customer business needs and technology landscape to identify opportunities and recommend the optimal migration strategy.

Professional Services engage in a wide variety of projects for customers and partners providing collective experience from across the AWS customer base. Our team collaborates across the entire AWS organization to bring access to product and service teams to get the right solution delivered and drive feature innovation based upon customer needs. You will collaborate with our customers and/or partners on key engagements and will develop and deliver proofofconcept projects technical workshops feature comparisons and execute migration projects.

Key job responsibilities
As an experienced technology professional you will be responsible for:
Designing and implementing complex scalable and secure AWS solutions tailored to customer needs
Providing technical guidance and troubleshooting support throughout project delivery
Collaborating with stakeholders to gather requirements and propose effective migration strategies
Acting as a trusted advisor to customers on industry trends and emerging technologies
Sharing knowledge within the organization through mentoring training and creating reusable artifacts

5 years of experience in cloud architecture and implementation
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering related field or equivalent experience
Experience in large scale application/server migration from onpremise to cloud.
Good knowledge on Compute Storage Security and Networking technologies
Good understanding and experience on dealing with firewalls VPCs network routing Identity and Access Management and security implementation

AWS experience preferred with proficiency in a wide range of AWS services (e.g. EC2 S3 RDS Lambda IAM VPC CloudFormation)
AWS Professional level certifications (e.g. Solutions Architect Professional DevOps Engineer Professional) preferred
Experience with automation and scripting (e.g. Terraform Python)
Knowledge of security and compliance standards (e.g. HIPAA GDPR)
Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and nontechnical audiences
Experience in assessment of source architecture and map it to relevant target architecture in the cloud environment with knowledge on capacity and performance management
