Position Summary
The Pharmacy Technician L1 will perform functions of filling shipping and/or packing of prescription orders in accordance with standard operating procedures. May work in any of the assigned functions of cold packing single bagging control room or bulk packing.
Perform duties related to the process of all receiving and replenishment of product through the facility to include direct and wholesaler products as well as supplies of inventory.
Perform functions related to the receipt of material including the loading and unloading of trucks matching the manifest to received material. Utilizes RF devices as well as operating equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks to receive material. Work with Inventory Coordinator on receiving variances (shortages & overages) and exceptions (damages & expirations). Process incoming transfers and work with Inventory Coordinator on vendor returns. Ensure the warehouse area is clean and well organized.

Required Qualifications
Active Texas pharmacy technician license
Ability to stand for extended periods of time
Ability to reach/twist/turn/bend/stoop/walk and lift up to 50 pounds
Shipping/Packing experience or similar work experience in an environment which features objectives for both quantity (production) and quality.
Ability to push and pull heavy mail bins.
Ability to use 10key pad on the computer.
Must be able to maintain a focus on work and meet production requirements without compromising quality
Regular and predictable attendance
Preferred Qualifications
Formal Pharmacy Technician training
Prior Pharmacy Technician experience
National Pharmacy Technician Certification
Education
High school diploma GED or equivalent experience

The typical pay range for this role is:
$17.00 $28.46This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual fulltime salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience education geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus commission or shortterm incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
