The working environment you can expect:
This position is based in Northway Alaska within the Tok District. Northway is a predominantly Athabascan village that is situated in the Tetlin National Wildlife Refuge 42 miles from the Canadian border and 50 miles southeast of Tok. Accessible via a 9mile spur road off the Alaska Highway it includes three dispersed settlements: Northway Junction Northway (the airport) and the Native village located two miles to the north. Expect a dynamic fastpaced environment with diverse responsibilities and conditions. Youll work both independently and as part of a team often in challenging weather or terrain. Shift work and emergency responses are part of the role with safety as a top priority. Our supportive team and continuous training will provide the tools you need to succeed in any situation.
