The Arizona Department of Corrections Rehabilitation and Reentry (ADCRR) is searching for an executivelevel program manager to fill the Senior IT Program Manager position. This position oversees the Program Management Office Vendor and Contracts Management Information Technology (IT) Governance and other professional staff. Develops executes and delivers key strategic departmental and functional business plans. Positions the agency for continued program success. Provides leadership mentoring and guidance to departmental managers supervisors and professional staff. Executes the overall vision and organizational goals for the IT department. Evaluates identifies and resolves resource constraints that impact departmental progress. Establishes reporting parameters and metrics for operational projects. And spearheads the creation and organization of IT policies processes and procedures.
Defines develops and executes on departmental strategic longterm goals and operational plans ensuring agency staff is in alignment within the organization
Resolves and manages organizational and escalated difficult and emotional customer and stakeholder conflicts and situations while maintaining confidentiality
Creates and fosters organizational growth and relationships through mentorship leadership guidance and team building across all levels of management and staff
Identifies key solutions with a systematic approach to problem solving
Spearheads a synergistic approach in the creation and organization of IT policies procedures and processes for overall IT governance
Establishes reporting parameters and metrics for operational projects based on the performance of multiple units
Manages tracks and monitors project budgets estimations metrics and costs
Advocates for technology changes that provide value and supports the agency goals in unison with the Deputy Chief Information Officer (DCIO)
Champions a cohesive and consistent approach to continuous improvement within the organization
Manages the activities of all staff including acting as liaison for ADOA and Arizona Strategic Enterprise Technology Office (ASET)
Oversight on completion of Project Investment Justification (PIJ)
Conducts presentations at the Information Technology Authorization Committee (ITAC)
Identifies and manages the IT hiring process schedules and accountability for effective use of resources
Drive on State business
Perform other duties appropriate to the assignment

Employment is contingent on the selected applicant passing a background investigation.
If this position requires driving or the use of a vehicle as an essential function of the job then the following requirements apply. Any employee operating a motor vehicle on State business must possess and retain a current valid classappropriate drivers license complete all required training and successfully pass all necessary drivers license record checks. The license must be current unexpired and neither revoked nor suspended. Employees who drive on state business are subject to drivers license record checks must maintain acceptable driving records and must complete all required driver training. An employee who operates a personally owned vehicle on state business shall maintain the statutorily required liability insurance (see Arizona Administrative Code (A.A.C. R210207.11.
In an effort to maintain a safe environment all employees are required to take a Tuberculosis (TB) test during their New Employee Orientation and every year thereafter.

Positions in this classification participate in the Arizona State Retirement System (ASRS). Enrollment eligibility will become effective after 27 weeks of employment.
