Amazon is seeking a Global Stock Plan Analyst to join our Global Financial & Workplace Benefits team in Seattle WA. This handson detailoriented individual contributor role will collaborate extensively with internal and external stakeholders to support regulatory requirements and reporting for Amazons global stock plans. Qualified candidates should possess stock plan compliance or relevant finance/accounting experience.
The ideal candidate is highly organized analytical with strong project management skills and the ability to navigate complex international equity compensation issues. Effective collaboration with internal and external contacts and a commitment to improving processes in a highly dynamic environment are essential. The successful candidate must demonstrate critical thinking skills a strong focus on attention to detail with sound judgment excellent written and verbal communication skills and a passion for customer service.
Key job responsibilities
Support global stock plan reporting and compliance related activities.
Manage RSU transactions country specific support fund repatriation and wire processes.
Support the implementation of regulatory changes to ensure program design and administration adhere to countryspecific requirements.
Partner with internal and external business partners to research provide input and recommendations on compliance initiatives and policies.
Lead initiatives to automate manual processes and develop comprehensive documentation of operations.
Perform audits and compliance reviews including developing reporting and processes to communicate methodology results and remediation plans.
Maintain an inventory of countryspecific reporting obligations; track regulatory changes with impacts on stock administration programs and policies.
Explore and develop new procedures and best practices to comply with local regulations.
Design and deliver comprehensive stock plan trainings as needed.
Reconcile stock transactions to ensure accurate income reporting/tax withholding globally while managing daytoday activity with Amazons stock plan provider.
Provide guidance assess risk resolve issues and escalate as appropriate for employees managers and HR globally.
Respond to inquiries from employees internal and external teams
Assisting with the development and implementation of procedures and practices to better enable efficiency accuracy and timely processing of equity
Experienced professional with full understanding of industry practices and company policies and procedures; ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects.
Bachelors degree in a relevant field such as Finance Accounting Business Administration or a related discipline.
2 years of stock plan finance accounting or related compliance work experience gained through inhouse programs or consulting/accounting firms OR
13 years experience in global equity administration
Strong analytical skills including proficiency in Excel and database analysis comfortable working with large amounts of information and communicating data findings.
Experience tracking and reporting program metrics to all levels of the organization.
Demonstrated bias for action with strengths in problemsolving issue resolution ability to work in an ambiguous and deadlinedriven environment attention to detail and ability to multitask.
International business experience with stock or finance/accounting.
5 years in global equity plan development administration and program governance.
Possession of a professional designation such as Certified Equity Professional (CEP) Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Enrolled Agent (EA).
Excellent verbal and written communication skills including the proven ability to effectively manage influence negotiate and communicate with business partners and teams.
Strong business judgment and a practical commonsense approach to solving complex problems.
Project management skills with a proven ability to design workable solutions manage multiple initiatives simultaneously prioritize workloads meet deadlines and drive projects to successful implementation.
Flexibility sharp organizational and processoriented skills and a selfstarting work ethic.
Demonstrated passion for delivering an exceptional customer experience.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $70300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $135300/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on jobrelated knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
