Job Description
Amazons Perfect Order Experience team works to ensure that customers can buy with confidence on Amazon. We design and implement policies tools and technology innovations to protect the buying experience on Amazon while minimizing friction for Sellers. We are looking for a Risk Manager with a passion for data to help reshape how we detect risks to a customers product quality experience. You will enjoy working with one of the richest data sets in the world and the ability to see your insights drive the creation of real tools and features for our customers and thousands of merchants participating in our Marketplace on a regular basis.
The ideal candidate will be an innovative and meticulously organized leader who obsesses over the customers shopping experience on our stores. They will be energized by working with crossfunctional teams and have a proven track record of succeeding in ambiguous situations. They will be comfortable with visualizing data and conceptualizing programs with a sharp focus on business outcomes. They will use data to guide decisions and prioritization. They will have track record of working across policy legal product engineering data science and operations teams to deliver successful program launches.
Key job responsibilities
This Risk Manager can expect to:
Develop a thorough understanding of drivers that impact a customers product quality experience when shopping at Amazon.
Design develop and deploy programs in partnership with product engineering policy and science teams
Work with business stakeholders and tech teams to define needs build solutions and measure results
Clarify and drive shortterm and longterm project priorities and commitments as well as establish and maintain clear chains of project and program management and accountability
Lead and manage daytoday program requirements with operations teams and program and product managers
Plan and conduct product/business reviews and reporting including program flashes budgeting ops optimization
Report on key metrics and performance indicators to measure overall program and product performance

4 years of compliance program management legal governance audit risk/loss prevention or equivalent experience
Bachelors degree or equivalent
Experience handling confidential information
4 years of program requirements definition and data and metrics leveraging to drive improvements experience
Professional auditing qualification or similar risk or compliance credentials
Experience with SQL and Excel

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $66800/year in our lowest geographic market up to $142800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on jobrelated knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered equity signon payments and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package in addition to a full range of medical financial and/or other benefits.
