The challenges SDEs solve for at Amazon are big and impact millions of customers sellers and products around the world. Were looking for individuals who are excited by the idea of creating new products features and services from scratch while managing ambiguity and the pace of a company whose ship cycles are measured in weeks not years.
Key job responsibilities
Collaborate with experienced crossdisciplinary Amazonians to conceive design and bring to market innovative products and services.
Design and build innovative technologies in a large distributed computing environment and help lead fundamental changes in the industry.
Create solutions to run predictions on distributed systems with exposure to innovative technologies at incredible scale and speed.
Build distributed storage index and query systems that are scalable faulttolerant low cost and easy to manage/use.
Work in an agile environment to deliver high quality software.

About the team
Business Amazon Website (BACOM) is a team focused on helping customers to understand Amazon Business value proposition register and drive them towards HVAs such as activation (making the first purchase). We do that by building the site where marketers can offer customers personalised content and measure its efficiency and customers can find the information they need.
Experience (noninternship) in professional software development
Experience designing or architecting (design patterns reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems
Experience programming with at least one software programming language
Bachelors degree in computer science or equivalent
Experience with full software development life cycle including coding standards code reviews source control management build processes testing and operations
