Our team aims to be the worlds authoritative provider of AWS computing insight. Customers can understand control and optimize usage of AWS products. We sit at the nexus of all AWS services and interact directly with endcustomers. We build relationships with teams across AWS to ensure a secure and reliable customer experience. We take inputs from these services and merge them with millions of events per second to produce actionable insights.

Providing a scalable platform to support AWS expanding business is complex architecturally. Accurate cost and usage information is critical. Enterprise customers make major decisions based on the timeliness accuracy and detail of data our products provide.

* You own the full process endtoend: requirements designs reviews coding launches operations mentoring and driving continuous improvement.
* You solve difficult problems using appropriate technologies and best practices.
* You invent design and build stable performant software with your team.

As a member of the UC organization youll support the development and management of Compute Database Storage Internet of Things (IoT) Platform and Productivity Apps services in AWS including support for customers who require specialized security solutions for their cloud services.

3 years of noninternship professional software development experience
2 years of noninternship design or architecture (design patterns reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
Experience programming with at least one software programming language

3 years of full software development life cycle including coding standards code reviews source control management build processes testing and operations experience
Bachelors degree in computer science or equivalent

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $129300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $223600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on jobrelated knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
