The Department of Mathematics in The University of Tampas College of Social Sciences Mathematics and Education invites applications for a full time nonrenewable one year position as a Visiting Assistant Professor or Visiting Lecturer for the academic year .
The University of Tampa is a mediumsized comprehensive residentiallybased private institution of more than 11000 undergraduate and graduate students. The University is ideally situated on a beautiful 110acre campus next to the Hillsborough River adjacent to Tampas dynamic central business district which is a growing vibrant diverse metropolitan area. The successful candidate will teach four 4credit courses of lowerdivision level Mathematics Finite Math College Algebra Precalculus Business Calculus in the fall 2025 and spring 2026 semesters. Review of applications will commence immediately and continue until the position is filled.
Qualifications
Candidates must have a minimum of a Masters degree in Mathematics or Mathematics Education. Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a fulltime basis.
