This position will play a pivotal role in shaping the FAMLI programs technology strategy keeping the organization ahead of emerging technologies and fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement across these three focus areas. The Director of Technology Innovation and Risk Management for the FAMLI program will focus on three critical areas.
Lead the technology strategy and software development lifecycle of a portfolio of systems that enable the FAMLI program.
Firstly this position will lead the technology strategy and be accountable for the total software development lifecycle for systems supporting the program ensuring alignment with the programs vision and emerging technologies. This involves managing resources vendor relationships and fostering partnerships to drive operational efficiency and innovation. Another area of responsibility for this position will be the continuous improvement of system integrity and service uptime. The Director will be responsible for identifying and implementing innovative ideas and tools to enhance overall solution offerings and performance ensuring that the technology infrastructure is robust reliable and resilient. By staying current with industry trends and emerging technologies the Director will drive advancements that contribute to the organizations ongoing success.
Oversee Cybersecurity and Fraud Prevention Management
This position will be responsible for overseeing cybersecurity and fraud prevention management for the FAMLI program. This includes developing and implementing strategies to enhance security compliance and inhouse systems for fraud detection and prevention. The Director will collaborate with crossfunctional teams manage governance risk and compliance processes and stay current on industry regulations to promote a culture of security awareness and risk management.
Architectural and Data Management Alignment
Reporting to the division director of FAMLI and with a dottedline reporting relationship to CDLEs technology strategy leadership this position will ensure FAMLIs strategic alignment with the agencys overall vision. This collaboration involves working closely with CDLE technology leadership to harmonize architectural and data management strategies maintaining coherence and strategic consistency. In this role the Director will also spearhead the development and evolution of technology solutions for efficient data management practices keeping FAMLIs initiatives in line with agency objectives. They will be responsible for the development and maintenance of a centralized data management infrastructure promoting data integrity accessibility and driving data driven decisionmaking capabilities. The Director will also coordinate with the agency on data governance and champion continuous improvement of data management processes.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Ten 10 years of relevant experience in an occupation related to the work assigned to this position two 2 of which must have included experience with public or business administration establishing goals and objectives as well as developing and managing a budget to achieve program goals and objectives. This includes risk management audit compliance and fraud along with product management maintenance contract management & technological process improvement.

A combination of related education and/or relevant experience in an occupation related to the work assigned equal to ten 10 years two 2 of which must have included experience with public or business administration establishing goals and objectives as well as developing and managing a budget to achieve program goals and objectives. This includes risk management audit compliance and fraud along with product management maintenance contract management & technological process improvement.
