Job Description

Amazons Legal Department is looking for a talented Contracts Manager to support our rapidly growing procurement business. The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing drafting and negotiating a variety of third party contractual relationships including products and services agreements software licensing and hosted services agreements financial services agreements orders amendments and NDAs. As a member of our team you will provide daytoday advice to business clients on transactions processes systems and internal and external communications and drive process improvements to simplify transactions from beginning to end.

The candidate must have:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a customer focused detail driven and professional demeanor;
A passion for building trust with internal and external stakeholders by being proactive and innovative in solving problems that affect stakeholders and customers;
A proven ability to meet tight deadlines and prioritize workload;
The ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fastpaced and rapidly changing environment reacting with appropriate urgency to situations and events that require a quick response or turnaround and taking effective action without knowing the whole picture;
A desire to grow professionally as the roles responsibility grows rapidly with the business; and
Common sense great judgment and a good sense of humor.

5 years of contracts management paralegal or other comparable experience within a law firm government agency or inhouse legal department with responsibility for reviewing drafting and negotiating the legal terms of a broad range of standard commercial contracts

Ability to simplify and improve legal and contracting processes
Excellent organizational skills ability to manage multiple projects at once and work independently
Strong analytical and computer skills
Inhouse experience
Bachelors Degree

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $68400/year in our lowest geographic market up to $146300/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on jobrelated knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered equity signon payments and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package in addition to a full range of medical financial and/or other benefits.
