Why Kitchen Steward
The Kitchen Steward is an essential role to the operation. The Kitchen Steward ensures that all guests have an excellent experience through performing kitchen duties related to maintaining kitchen work areas restaurant and kitchen equipment.
Work Performed:
TheKitchen Stewardis tasked with the following duties responsibilities and assignments:
- Clean and sanitize all kitchen equipment food storage areas walkin fridges freezers ovens and dry storagecupboards;
- Clean sanitizeand store dishes glasses utensilsand other kitchen equipment in thedesignatedareas;
- Handwash pots pans and traysper the prescribedstandard;
- Manage trash andgarbage (including separating) cleancans and maintain loading dock;
- Transfer supplies and equipment between storage and workareas;
- Complete regular sanitization/disinfection of all kitchen and food and beverage work areas that include flooring storerooms prep areas buffets dining tables andequipment;
- Assistwith food dishup setup sheetsandsetup and breakdown for various events; and
- Any and allother work as required to complete the primary purpose of the position.
Qualifications:
- Required Licenses/ Certification:Cleveland County Food Handler Certification acquired upon hire during onboarding.
- Preferred Education: High School diploma or equivalent
- Physical:Ability to lift pull and push up to 50poundsregularlyAbility to bend and squat repeatedly Ability to walk and stand for duration of scheduled shift
- Availability:Flexible to working days early mornings evenings weekendsand holidays.
