Job Overview
Primary focus is on proof of concept delivery as part of global technology solutions resulting in presales teams ability to support innovative solutions new business/account acquisitions and high profile clients. In addition meeting revenue and profit objectives through winning high profile clients and focusing on winning large multcountry deals with exisiting and new customers.
Essential Functions
Build proof of concepts and demonstrations as per project plan
Maintain demonstration and POC environments as required
Support the configuration of standard Custom objects and Apps Workflows Process builder Approval Process Communities Live Agent Knowledge Articles User License governance and Reporting
Work with Associate Solutions Engineering Development Director to build out proof of concept environment
Build the proof of concept as per design
Review proof of concept scope with Associate Solutions Engineering Development Director
Provides Post Production Support of the POC environment.
Ensure delivery of the proof of concept
Uses CI tools Such as Source Tree Jenkins and Mavenmates for deployment.
Attends meetings with internal departments as required to meet the needs of the proof of concept delivery and management of demonstration environments.
Understand and follow the proof of concept approach to ensure the most efficient delivery of proof of concepts
Attend technical reviews at program / project initiation
Assist in the writing of instructional materials (e.g. scope definition communication plans manuals flowcharts etc.
Along with the Associate Solutions Engineering Development Director builds out proof of concept capability and develops all demonstration environments enhancing the teams capability to deliver exceptional demonstrations.
Perform testing as per test plans System Testing Regression Testing and UAT scripting as well as tracking
Ensure that applications developed are compliant with preset technical specifications and quality standards
Qualifications
Bachelors Degree Computer Science a related field or equivalent
experience Req
Three 3 years experience in software and/or product development with a focus on architecture Req
Ability to apply technology to business strategies and
ability to employ consulting skills
Broad knowledge of current technology tools and
techniques for software development.
Exposure to enterprise architecture.
