You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailWere looking for a motivated Remote Service Engineer to join our Online Technical Support team delivering remote diagnostics support and service to customers across the U.S. and Canada.
In this role youll help customers solve technical challenges related to Agilents industryleading Gas Chromatography Liquid Chromatography and Spectroscopy instruments. Youll act as a trusted advisor delivering prompt and accurate support while collaborating with internal teams to ensure a seamless customer experience. You will also leverage postsales interactions with customers to probe and qualify for further revenue opportunities.
Location: Wilmington DE
Hours: Must be able to work between the hours 8:00 AM 7:00 PM.
Hybrid Work Policy: Work from Home on Mondays and Fridays and Onsite work on Tuesdays to Thursdays.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide technical support via phone email and chat platforms.
Troubleshoot hardware and software issues on Agilent instrumentation.
Consult with customers on Agilents product use and application.
Deliver educational services through elearning and minor training sessions.
Create and curate technical content and support articles.
Collaborate across departments to resolve customer needs.
Identify additional service or product opportunities during support interactions.
Support transactional sales via qualified leads and service returns.
Potentially assist in instrument repair/refurbishment at a service center or onsite with a Field Service Engineer.
Bachelors degree in life sciences (Chemistry Biology Microbiology Biochemistry etc. preferred.
Experience working in a customerfacing field.
Theoretical or technical knowledge applied in realworld situations.
Strong problemsolving abilities; able to determine effective solutions independently.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proficiency with digital tools and remote support platforms.
Logical troubleshooting mindset and customerfirst attitude.
Eagerness to learn adapt and grow within the role.
Ability to communicate in French is a plus.
Additional Details
This job has a full time weekly schedule. It includes the option to work remotely. Applications for this job will be accepted until at least April 17 2025 or until the job is no longer posted.The fulltime equivalent pay range for this position is $27.15 $42.43/hr plus eligibility for bonus stock and benefits. Our pay ranges are determined by role level and location. Within the range individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors including jobrelated skills experience and relevant education or training.
