Please note that this position is located in Weaverville CA. Out of Area Differential Pay is available for this position to incentivize qualified staff to commute from a longer distance. This will allow Trinity Health Care patients to receive better quality care.
The Redding Rancheria is seeking an Admissions Supervisor at our Trinity Facility located in Weaverville CA. The preferred schedule for this position isMonday Friday 7:45 am to 4:45 pm.
JOB SUMMARY:
Supervises the daytoday patient admissions access operations and staff responsible for required registration and patient intake process.
REQUIREMENTS/MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Prior data entry experience strongly preferred.
- Prior work experience in a medical setting preferred.
- Supervision experience.
- Must pass preemployment drug screening.
- Indian preference.
- Must be fingerprinted and pass background check
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:
- Plans schedules and supervises Admissions Specialist and Clinic Reception Clerks.
- Perform appropriate rewards evaluations and disciplinary actions in a consistent manner following policy.
- Train staff on proper work procedures understanding and following both Federal and State Regulations.
- Manage the intake admissions and utilization process for incoming patients.
- Process admissions calls verify insurance and assist with alternate resources as applicable.
- Monitors operational metrics to improve processes increase efficiency or correct problems
- Be familiar with HIPAA and other federal and state regulations relating to patient files medical records and patient registration including Indian verification.
- Responsible for effective coordination between clinical and administrative teams to improve workflow patient care and productivity.
- Attend training as requested by supervisor.
