About the Position

The Anesthesiologist M.D.s role and responsibility are to provide clearances for cataract surgery in our Ambulatory Surgery Center by evaluating patients vital signs medical histories allergies current medication use and other risk factors as well as preparing patients for anesthesia performing monitored anesthesia care overseeing patient recovery and caring for the patients immediate postoperative needs.

What do we look for

The role is 5 days per week but job sharing 23 days per week would be considered for the right candidate
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to provide high level patient care and comfort with other medical professionals
High attention to detail
Excellent customer service skills
Positive attitude and high energy
Adaptability

Job Skills & qualifications:

Florida license required
Board Certification required
Experience in circulating in and preop and recovery of anesthesia patients
Stay abreast of new developments and technology in the industry
Must be mobile in an office setting sitting standing walking bending and stretching
