Job Description
- Reviewing and explaining benefits and forms
- Reviewing chart notes and calculate balances for patient
- Calling patients to review deductibles and any outstanding balance or copays
- Scheduling followup appointments
- Collecting payments due prior to and/or surgery day
- This position requires proven organizational skills top level problem solving outstanding customer service and the ability to communicate effectively.
- Our ideal candidate is comfortable working with the public and has worked in an office environment where a high level of customer service was required.
- The position requires a person with outstanding interpersonal skills including a pleasant demeanor positive attitude tact diplomacy patience and flexibility.
- Medical office experience required; Medical insurance knowledge highly preferred
- Insurance verification knowledge is preferred
- Must have the ability to multitask and demonstrate an attention to detail
- Ability to read and communicate effectively with patients peers supervisors and team
