Job Description
The Senior Technical Specialist is responsible for the development automation and optimization of Electronic Data Deliverables (EDDs) and LIMS processes. This role supports advanced data workflows lab software integration and reporting systems. The position blends IT with laboratory operations aligning technical solutions with client and regulatory requirements.
To perform this job successfully the individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The Essential Duties and Responsibilities section previously listed contains the knowledge skills and abilities required to be successful in this job.
- Generate EDDs in LIMs
- Troubleshoot Errors
- Work directly with clients and technical errors to resolve errors
- Upload/email EDDs and other deliverables to applicable databases or contacts.
- Assist with EDD Identification requests
- Review and Certify EQAPPs
- Mentor junior EDD specialists and serve as the lead technical escalation point
- Design build and automate advanced EDD workflows (Level III/IV)
- Build dashboards and data visualizations using Power BI or equivalent tools
- Knowledge of analytical lab workflows and regulatory data standards
- Excellent problemsolving project management and communication skills
Qualifications :
Education: Bachelors Degree in Computer Science Chemistry Biology or related field
Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience with LIMS and EDD systems
Professional working proficiency in English is a requirement including the ability to read write and speak in English.
